Design & Build Contract
This Project involved the design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant located at Ballysadare, Co. Sligo. The plant is designed to cater for a population equivalent of 4500 people.
The treatment process incorporates Inlet Screening and Grit Removal, STM Aeration System, Secondary Settlement, Final Effluent Holding and Sludge Thickening.
Ward & Burke Construction were responsible for all civil design and construction. The M&E works were carried out by Response Engineering
Civil construction on the treatment works site consisted of Aeration tanks, Clarifiers, Inlet works, Pump sumps, Control Building and all site services.
