Project Description:
The Contract included the following works:
- Construction of a Maintenance Building consisting of workshops, offices and stores complete with footpaths car parking and paved access.
- Diversion of an existing foul sewer rising main through the laying of a new 350mm diameter ductile iron pipeline.
- 200mm ductile iron rising main.
- Access roads around site and to an existing Administration Building were also constructed, together with extra car parking and lay-by’s.
- Service pipes were laid including 90mm diameter gas main, 100mm & 150mm Ductile Iron watermain, 100mm diameter duct, twin 100mm ducts complete with duct chambers & 150 diameter duct.
- A diversion to the main ESB power supply to the treatment works was required.
- The Contract also involved the demolition of an existing workshop and stores and a disused building.
