Project Description:
This Contract involved the laying of approximately 13,200metres of water mains in fields, parks and roads as follows:-
- 13,000m of 600 /450/250 /200mm diameter ductile iron watermain.
- 300m of 560mm OD high liperformance polyethylene (HPPE) watermain.
- Crossing of Swords Road, M1 Motorway and the N32 by ‘no-dig’ method - 600mm diameter watermain.
- Crossing of the DART line at Bayside Station by ‘no-dig’ method -560mm diameter watermain.
- Crossing of the Dublin-Belfast Railway Line by piperamming method - 560mm OD HPPE watermain.
- Crossing of the Mayne River - 450mm diameter watermain.
- Two crossings of the Racecourse Stream - 450mm diameter watermain.
