Project Description:
This Contract involved:
Pipelaying:- Circa. 20,753m of PE pressure main laid in roads. Diameters 280/355/400/450/500/560mm o.d
This included pipework over 7No. Bridges and connections to existing reservoirs at Drumellihy and Dooaghboy.
- Upgraded and extended the existing Booster Station at Blackweir Bridge.
- Construction of new chlorine storage facility.
- Domestic Mechanical and Electrical Works:
Installation and commissioning of telemetry between Reservoir and Booster Station
Main Plant Works:
4No. variable speed pumps including surge protection
200mm diameter pipework, Valves and Fittings
Surge Tank
Switchgear and Motor Control Panel complete with control cabling
Ultrasonic level controls
Pressure Transducers
Heating and Lighting Installations
Hoist Beam, Lifting Tackle and Chain
Chlorination Works:
Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing System, complete with pipework and fittings
Controls and Leak Detectors, and monitors
Chlorine Residual Monitoring
Duty and standby dosing pumps
Chlorination Plant Lighting / Heating & miscellaneous equipment
