Project Description:
This Contract included the following works:-
- Part removal of existing stone riverbank wall and reinforced concrete parapet.
- Construction of a stainless steel bridge deck structure and parapet on support brackets, attached to the existing bridge which is a “Listed” structure. The inlet is tidal. The location is in a built-up Urban Area in Galway City.
- Diversion of existing services and construction of telecom ducts and gas main, suspended on bridge structure.
- All associated pavement construction, etc.
