Project Description:

The Ashbourne / Ratoath / Kilbride Sewerage Scheme, Phase 2 Contract No. 3 includes generally for the following works:

Ashbourne

  • Construction of a foul sewer including pipe bursting to increase existing pipe bore.
  • Construction of a Stormwater Holding tank and other ancillary structures at the Ashbourne Pumping Station Site.
  • Increase in pumping capacity at Ashbourne Pumping Station under the Mechanical and Electrical Contract.
  • Trench and Site Reinstatement.

Ratoath
Construction of:

  • Foul sewers
  • Replacement Pumping Station at the Main Ratoath Pumping Station Site.
  • Stormwater Holding Tank and other ancillary structures at the Ratoath Pumping Station Site.
  • New Control building at the Ratoath Pumping Station Site.
  • Additional Rising Main from Ratoath Pumping Station to Kilbride.
  • Demolition of the existing Pumping Station at Ratoath Pumping Station Site.
  • Demolition of existing Control Building at Ratoath Pumping Station Site.
  • Trench and Site Reinstatement.

Kilbride

  • Construction of a Foul Sewer from new Ratoath Rising Main to inlet of Kilbride Pumping Station.
  • Provision of an odour control system and other ancillary works at Kilbride Pumping Station.
  • Increase in pumping capacity at Kilbride Pumping Station under the Mechanical and Electrical Contract.
  • Trench and Site reinstatement.
