OLD ARMAGH ROAD PUMPING STATION CIVIL WORKS CONTRACT NO. 2

This Scheme included a pumping station, rising main and gravity foul sewers. The sewage is pumped via a rising main to the chamber, from where it flows by gravity via a foul sewer to an existing diameter foul sewer. This Contract included for the following works:

» Approximately 30 m of 50 mm diameter HDPE watermain
» Approximately 660m of 250 mm diameter HDPE rising main.
» Approximately 450 m of 150/225 375 mm diameter concrete foul sewer.
» Approximately 120 m of 100 mm diameter D.I. watermain.
» Approximately 50 m of 300/450 mm diameter D.I. foul sewer.
» 1 No. Header Chamber
» 1 No. Pumping Station. Caisson construction, 10m deep x 10m diameter in poor ground conditions.
» 18 No. Manholes
» Working around narrow road and lanes, also rising and falling scenery.
